Simple and Comfortable Option

NW Recovery Homes is a simple and comfortable option for those of us seeking housing early in our recovery from alcohol and substance abuse. We provide leadership, structure, accountability, and luxurious, comfortable rooms and shared areas to live in.

Our leaders believe that the future needs to be sustainable and attractive to recover. We think that through positive spaces and access to community, fun, and service, we can be the determining factor in which someone is successful on their path to recovery. With that in mind, we have worked hard to create a living experience that meets the needs of newly sober friends and family.

Sean Wagner

Co-Founder

Sean has been in long-term recovery and involved in the recovery community since 2014. After developing a successful business career for himself in construction, he has been able to use what he has learned to follow his passion for helping others. He believes that recovering from substance abuse can be fun and exciting. As a result, he spends a lot of his time connecting with those in early recovery and engages in fun activities and experiences while sober; such as camping, watersports, and hiking.

House Manager

I am Sonya Castaneda, a dedicated professional with over 20 years of experience in the caregiving field. For the past 5 years, I have successfully overseen recovery homes and resided in communal housing, providing me with a unique perspective. Holding certifications as a recovery mentor and a medical assistant, I am committed to making a positive impact. Assisting individuals on their journeys is my true calling, and witnessing them reclaim their lives brings immeasurable satisfaction. Guiding the women who enter our homes is both a privilege and a source of immense fulfillment.

The Community Created At NW Recovery Homes

It is often said that the opposite of addiction is connection, and it is vital for people in recovery – especially early recovery – to find a community of support.  Community is essential for maintaining and enjoying sobriety, avoiding feelings of isolation, rediscovering self, and connecting with others who understand what you’re experiencing.

We understand how new beginnings work, recover with us.

PATIENT STORIES

Don't just take our word for it

I've stayed in many sober living and transitional homes and by far this is one of the best in my experience.

The home is warm and inviting while still being spacious and airy. It is located in a safe quiet neighborhood. It doesn't feel like a sober living institution at all where you're crammed into a room with other strangers and just feel like a rent check to the owners. Personally, I felt like I could finally slow down and really start working on my recovery in a calm peaceful environment that fosters clean and sober living without feeling like I'm just there until I find someplace "better" or my life circumstances improve.

Infact, it feels like the kind of place you come when things have gotten better.

The house manager is kind and caring and everyone involved has personal  experience in recovery. You are encouraged to do whatever is right for you wherever you are in your recovery journey and you are given the support you need in order to make that journey a little less stressful.

It's also clean, has a beautiful backyard, comfortably sized rooms and beds, plenty of storage and an attentive house manager. AND it's affordable!

It really is a gem and a great place to get started or continue your recovery journey. 5 stars.

I cannot recommend NW Recovery Homes enough for women seeking a supportive and empowering environment to achieve lasting sobriety.

I had the privilege of staying at NW Recovery Homes for several months, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported by the staff and my fellow residents. The women's house is beautifully designed and maintained, with spacious and comfortable accommodations that provide the privacy and safety needed for recovery. What truly sets NW Recovery Homes apart is the sense of community and sisterhood among the women. Living with other women who are on the same journey as you can be incredibly empowering, and I felt a deep sense of connection and support from the other residents.

The staff are experienced and knowledgeable, and they provide individualized support and guidance throughout the recovery journey. They understand that sobriety is about more than just abstaining from drugs and alcohol; it's about building a fulfilling life in recovery.

Thanks to the tools and support I received at NW Recovery Homes, I was able to achieve lasting sobriety and build a foundation for a fulfilling life in recovery. I am forever grateful for the time I spent there and the connections I made with the staff and residents. I highly recommend NW Recovery Homes to any woman seeking a supportive and empowering environment to achieve sobriety.
